  In-laws have quit asking if we are going to the meeting.

  i have been working on the fade for almost a year now.

  my in-laws seem to have finally quit asking if we will be at the meeting.

  they were saying "we'll see you tomorrow," then it changed to "hope to see you tomorrow."..

  in relation to this thread, the destruction of jerusalem 607bce.

  i'm doing my own research on this date, majority (98%) of sources points to 587bce, i'm still studying jw enterpretation of bible chronology and other books but so far there seems to be little support for 607bce.. .

  as a witness i could never bring myself to lay out the cronology to anyone about 607 to 1914 bull. thereis so much assumption based on speculation it was embarrasing. good research joe too bad they are all apostate books. ha

  BIG talk with teenage son today

  yesterday i got to ask my kids what they thought of the convention they just had.

  response was 'really good'.

  daughter liked the drama but could not say why or what the lesson was... so i figure she liked it because it was more interesting than the regular talks.

  Good for you oz, excellent way to get him to reason for himself the toof dosent teach you to do that so planting seeds will get him to ask you more questions. i am using a similar approach with my teen

  is the org changing anointed to partakers?

  this may have been touched on already in another post but it seems to me that instead of the org referring to someone as anointed they are now recognizing them as partakers in the watchtower.

  could this be because of the rise in the number of the little flock they are insinuating some who partake are not chosen?

  also the comment at the end of last weeks wt about the faithfull slave and its governing body shows how they want to enforce a higher position among the little flock.

  my niece was removed as an unbaptized pub a few months ago , she is 18 and told her family she wants to live life on her terms and dosent want the truth anymore. she is dating and looking for an apt with a friend but her grandfather is an elder and now treats her poorly, he talks about her like heloaths her now he has said very unkind things about her and her grandmother told her she is not going to socialize with her annymore unless it is about the truth. the emotional blackmail makes me sick, i have a decent relationship with her and she knows she is welcome at our home. i guess they think the hate bombing is going to bring her back to the meetings. bastards all of them

  i have acouple of damaged disks in my neck and will get pounding migranies at times if i turn wrong. i was taking so much vicoine it was killing my stomach i didnt want to smoke weed so i bought the same vaporizer that was in super high me and it works amazing it will kill the pain better than pills. if you smoke try a vaporizor all the lung strech without the cough and burn.

  Violence Training

  did anybody notice the paragraph in today's study edition that pretty much said that "violent video games and movies are training people to be violent towards each other during the great tribulation".. i really had to do my best to not laugh when i read this.

  i don't know if any of you watch penn & teller's show.

  they did a show on violent video games and their effect.

  a sister who never comments went on about the fact that even violent movies based on outer space where those killed are aliens can still influence some to become violent. even my wife started in on me about movies and video games, which is foolish to me. i have a great time playing COD on xbox with my son its one of a few things he and i enjoy as our own. i believe taking your love away by shunning will promote a lot more hostility in a child than a fantasy gunfight.

  if it were done by a group of children in school to another student the school would consider it a form of bullying.

  are dubs bullying other dubs when they do this?

  to me it seems like a form childish behavior that you would only expect to see in grade school..

  i agree the whole premise is built around control. they will try to own your allegiance and then when you are beaten down (figurative) and sit in the hall like a form of cancer until the BOE decide your ready to join, they praise god (FDS)for the loving arraingment.

  its a "worldly" holiday and both my daughter and i are at home, not in service.

  i got up, made us breakfast, (sausage and eggs) and now i'm playing on jw net.. on the downside, my wife and son are out in service and i have to sit down and put together my service groups time and turn that in to the secretary... (although my son didnt want to go.. he complained "cant we just have a chill day".. i was going to let him stay home but he changed his mind to go see a friend who said he was also going out...).

  all you active jw's... did you or are you going out..or are you ditching?.

  i always avoid service on the holidays, the last thing i would want to see on a holiday are a pair of over dressed individuals with extra wide smiles showing me magazines that condemn my pagan worldy life. i had a veteran tell me while i was at his door on veterans day " do you people ever show respect for anyone". made sense to me
